Bushcraft Haversack Kit
Spring has officially arrived here in the Appalachian Mountains and that means one thing…Goodbye heavy winter gear, hello lightweight kits!
I am using the Helikon Tex Bushcraft Haversack for 95% of my outdoor ventures right now. I use it for everything from scouting trips to day hikes and walks in the woods. Let me put this kit into context a bit more…This is NOT a “bugout bag”. Sure, I could survive for quite a while with this bag. But this is my “get out in the woods and have some fun” kit. I think we can often make self-reliance & bushcraft so serious that we forget to have fun.
Remember these things as you’re taking a look through this bag with me. This kit enables me to easily create things with my tools, filter water, cook, make fire, and set up a quick shelter. This is everything and more that is typically needed during a normal day in the woods.

Even though the Helikon Tex Bushcraft Haversack is new to me, it feels like I’ve been using it for years.
