I have been carrying the Vanquest Tekko 4 for quite some time now and I’ve been very happy with it as an EDC Bag! I have also alternated its bigger brother, The Tekko-6, in and out of my EDC rotation when I need a bit more capacity.
Here are some of the high-points about the Vanquest Tekko 4:
- As the name suggests:
These are tech-driven bags, even though they will accommodate other types of gear. - Check out my latest “Whats In My Bag” video here to see what I carry in my Vanquest Tekko 4.
- The Vanquest Tekko 4 is incredibly comfortable to carry. The seatbelt material strap is slick so it doesn’t dig into your shoulder…But, the bag design doesn’t allow it to slide around on your body either. This speaks to Vanquest’s ability to make a bag that carry’s well.
- The materials and build quality are all top-notch on the Tekko 4 and Tekko 6, which comes as no surprise. Vanquest makes incredible gear!
- The $105-115 price tag is, actually, a fairly humble ask from Vanquest. Sure, it’s still more expensive than some cheaper bags (which have fewer features and lower quality). But Vanquest managed to design a well-thought-out bag with plenty of high-end features, without jacking the price up.
“What’s in my EDC Bag” Video
Instead of writing 4 or 5 more sections about this bag, I launched a new video where I give you a visual breakdown of the Tekko-4 (along with a guest appearance by the Tekko-6). In this video, I show you what I carry as my EDC when I’m traveling, doing casual photography outings, and when I find myself in urban areas. I hope you enjoy watching it!
