Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust Review
The Best Just Got Better.
My Partners-In-Sharp over at Worksharp recently launched the Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust knife sharpener, and I could not be more excited about it! The new Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust is a premium upgrade to the wildly popular “Precision Adjust“.
Speaking of the original Worksharp Precision Adjust Sharpener, this has been my favorite system since it launched. However, I believe it will be sitting on the sidelines for a while…Because the Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust Model is a very significant upgrade!

Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust
If you are unfamiliar with the Worksharp Precision Adjust system, here is a quick overview (using the latest professional model as our basis of information):
- Set your desired angle and get to sharpening:
The Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust system is my go-to because it helps with the most important variable of knife sharpening: Getting the proper angle for your blade’s edge and maintaining it throughout the entire sharpening process. (The new digital angle indicator really makes this a breeze) - 8 ways to sharpen or hone your blade:
The Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust Sharpener includes a serration sharpener and 7 magnetic plates for sharpening/honing. Personally, I find myself sticking with the 800-grit diamond plate, then ceramic, and the leather strop to finish things off. However, if I have really put a beating on a knife, I can always repair it with the more coarse grit diamond plates. - Upgrades to the Professional Model:
Overall, the new Worksharp Professional Precision Adjust Model is built to be more sturdy. There are more metal parts involved in its construction, and the clamps are incredibly secure versus the previous precision adjust model. It is also a feature-rich upgrade with the Small Knife Table (which I haven’t even experimented with yet) and the digital angle indicator.
There are plenty of other features that I haven’t even touched on for this article. But, these are my top 3.

This updated knife & tool sharpener is, hands-down, the best investment you can make if you’re serious about getting the best edge back on your knives. Since using the original Precision Adjust system, I actually look forward to sharpening the dullest knives that come across my table (which are always my Dad’s…he’s not very nice to his knives, lol).
On top of actually looking forward to sharpening my knives, the Precision Adjust System is a true breeze to use. Trust me when I say this: If you struggle with knife sharpening, the Professional Precision Adjust or Standard Precision Adjust is what you need.
